Info Session #1:
Wednesday February 8th 6:30pm
Prof Colin Browne will speak about the School, SFU Admissions will give a presentation, and there will be time for questions and answers. Colin Browne is a Film professor but he has served as Director of the Undergraduate Program and has spoken many times on the collaborative nature of all areas of the School.
Info Session #2:
Saturday February 11th 1:30-2:30pm
Prof. Martin Gotfrit will speak about the School, and SFU Admissions will give a brief presentaiton. Martin Gotfrit is the past Director of Contemporary Arts who guided us to our new home at Woodward's. His will share his experience and understanding of the interdisciplinary and collaborative nature of our School and Programs. He teaches Music Composition, Electroacoustic Music, Film Sound and Film Music.
Screening:
Saturday February 11th 3:00-4:30pm
A Screening of Recent Student Films, featuring Ryan Flowers and Lisa Pham introducing their award winning film "No Words Came Down" along with other award winning student films.
There will also be a tour of both the Contemporary Arts main campus at 149 W. Hastings and the Visual Art campus at 611 Alexander Street on Friday February 10th.
These events and sessions are free and all are welcome. The info sessions and screening will be held at the School for the Contemporary Arts main campus in downtown Vancouver (149 West Hastings Street).
