Grade 12s: If you’re planning to attend post-secondary, now is a good time to complete the PSI Selections form online. The link is available off Delview’s website under Student Surveys. If you’ve applied to UBC, you must complete that form before March 15th. UBC also requires that you self-report your marks beginning March 3rd. Each summer Emily Carr offers a challenging and exciting art intensive program for teens in grade 10, 11 and 12. The Summer Institute for Teens provides students with an introduction to the rigorous full–time study of art, design and media in a four–week, hands–on, studio–based program from July 7 – July 31, 2014

Why participate in S.W.E.A.T.?
The Art Institute of Vancouver’s annual S.W.E.A.T. program is a unique opportunity that provides students with valuable work experience in a simulated and creative work environment. Particularly valuable to those high school students who are required to complete work experience as part of graduation requirements, S.W.E.A.T. allows students access to a broader range of fields, making their work experience relevant to what they really want to do.
S.W.E.A.T. applicants should be Grade 11 or above. Priority will be given to Grade 12 students.
$200 enrolment fee.

It’s not just a job, it’s a starting point. So we’re looking for enthusiastic grade 11 and 12 students to join our Coast Community Youth Team. If you’re interested in gaining paid, on the job experience by working in one of our branches and the community, we’d love to meet you.
Students entering grade 11 or 12 in September 2014 and living in Surrey, North Delta, Richmond or Victoria are encouraged to apply. Community service and volunteer experience are great assets.

The North Delta Lions require volunteers for our annual Family Day festival which is happening this year on June 22. We have a requirement for volunteers to help with equipment set-up, food services and equipment take down.
Equipment set up may consist of: (8:00am - 11:30am)
Food services: (11:30 - 3:30pm)
Equipment take down may consist of: (4:00pm - 6:00pm)
