Join us at this free event to learn about the relationships between humans and animals, notably what it takes to train animals and how you, too, can begin an exciting career in animal training! This event is part of the Province of British Columbia’s Year of Science, and takes place on Wednesday, May 4th at 6 p.m.
Guest speakers include Nathan Harben (Senior Marine Mammal Trainer, Vancouver Aquarium), Gary Worley (Master Falconer, Radical Raptors), and Mary Chaloner-Blair (Owner and Head Trainer, A Capable Dog). The evening will be moderated by Dr. Martin Haulena (Veterinarian, Vancouver Aquarium) and will include a live demonstration!
