When?
You can access UBC's self-reporting system on the Student Service Centre from March 4 to April 4.
Why?
Your high school courses and grades play an important part in how UBC evaluates your application so it is important that we receive this information as soon as it is available.
How?
UBC will email you the steps needed to self-report your in-progress grades. Your Personal Education Number (PEN) is required to use the self-reporting system. If you did not submit this information when you applied, you will be able to when you self-report.
Verifying reported grades
All courses and grades submitted via UBC's self-reporting system will be verified with the BC Ministry of Education in May. You must submit a Post-secondary Institution (PSI) Choices Form to the BC Ministry of Education requesting that your official grades be sent to UBC. In the event of a discrepancy between the grades you report and the grades received from the BC Ministry of Education, UBC will request that you submit the documents you used to report your grades (e.g., spring report card and/or BC Ministry of Education transcript of grades) in order to resolve the discrepancy. Should a discrepancy remain unresolved, UBC will use the BC Ministry of Education grades as the official version to reassess your eligibility for admission.
