Value: $2000 (2 – one male, one female) NOTE: You must find someone who knows your ability to nominate you. Any individual or school may complete and submit a nomination form to the BC Sports Hall of Fame. Eligibility: 1. A registered Grade 12 student at a BC Secondary School 2. Maintain a C plus average (enclose a copy of transcript) 3. A resident of BC for the last twelve (12) months 4. A Canadian citizen or landed immigrant 5. Actively participate and compete in high school sport 6. Show evidence of high athletic ability and performance 7. Demonstrate future plans to attend a designated post-secondary institution in BC on a full-time basis within the next 24 months For nomination form: http://www.bcsportshalloffame.com/education/scholarships/ Three (3) scholarships are available that require Delview to nominate candidates. If you would like to be considered for nomination, please complete a Brag Sheet and submit it to Ms Derksen by Tue April 14. Brag Sheets are available in the Career Centre.
If you are chosen as Delview’s nominee, Ms Derksen will let you know and you will have to complete the application package. A final decision on winners will be made by the Delta School District’s Committee. The scholarship criteria are as follows: Sheelah Grasswick Scholarship ($1000)
Delta Retired Teachers Scholarship ($1000)
Delta Cable Vision ($500) (NOTE: Just a Brag Sheet, no application package necessary)
