DYSL has 4 new bursaries available, worth $500 each. All of them require financial need, and you must be able to explain what that need is. Otherwise, the four are:
Leadership Award: How have you contributed to school connectedness and belonging? How have you increased the capacity of another through mentoring?
Community Service and Volunteerism: Describe your history of volunteerism and its impact.
Jackie Brown Memorial: Tell us about your decision to learn a trade, and describe your goals.
Social Justice Award: NOTE—for students going in to criminology, youth work, social work, child youth mental health, etc. What does social justice mean to you? Have you overcome adversity and what has that taught you?
