This free event is open to everyone and provides a unique opportunity for you to find out more about BCIT’s full-time programs and part-time courses and programs all in one place, at one time.

"Have the Edge" Leadership Series for Youth (13-18 years of age) at SFU-Surrey Campus is a new, exclusive, and valuable opportunity to learn project management, network with local professionals and post-secondary students, and strengthen their leadership, communication, and teamwork skills. They will implement a community project to benefit the SPCA, which participants will present at a mini-competition, and receive certificates of participation. The program may help secondary students to complete graduation requirements (Planning 10, Community Leadership 10, Student Leadership 12, and Graduation Transitions 12) while enhancing their résumés for post-secondary and career opportunities. This is a partnership between SFU, the Wideman Foundation, and SmartKiDz ELP. Deadline to register extended to November 15 2013. Please see the package below for details. Cost is $100.
The Delta School District Academy Programs will be hosting two Athletic Scholarship Information meetings for interested parents and students; one will be in North Delta and the other in Ladner. The first meeting will be held at 7 pm Wed November 13th in the library at Sands Secondary and the second will be at 7 pm Tues Nov 19th in the library at Delta Secondary in Ladner. Susan Deane, a Career Advisor at Sands Secondary, will be the presenter.
