Want to engage your students in hands-on educational opportunities like the ones above but can't make Feb 25 or March 5th? Email [email protected]
There is NO COST to participate. Spaces are limited, so please sign up soon. Our invasive removals are most suited to those aged 12 and up. Plantings are suitable for all ages.
The Lower Mainland Green Team is an environmental group where volunteers get together and participate in local conservation and restoration activities such as removing invasive non-native plants, planting native species, and cleaning up shorelines in Municipal, Regional and Provincial parks. We also harvest and prepare vegetables at non-profit educational farms.
Another great opportunity for your students to help their local community in another way:
Perhaps one of your school clubs (environmental/green club? leadership club?) might raise funds for our charity to ensure we can keep running our activities? We could sure use help!
