The $3,000 French as a Second Language (FSL) Bursary aims to encourage a greater number of young English-speaking Canadians to become bilingual. For more details, please check your deltalearns email. This bursary opportunity is also posted in the Career Centre website.
This bursary program, which is administered by the Association des collèges et universités de la francophonie canadienne (ACUFC), aims to encourage a greater number of young English-speaking Canadians to become bilingual, while studying in their field of interest.
We are accepting applications between now and September 30, 2021.
Students who wants to be eligible for the bursary should participate at least 50% of their course load in French. For example, if the students wants to register for 30 credits for their first year, at least 15 credits should be taught in French. If they have additional activities that are being conducted in French (e.g. practicum in French) and if they can provide a documentation that can prove the hours involved in activities, those hours also can be counted toward 50% of French activities.
If you have any questions, please contact Dr. Anne Salamon at[email protected].
