To be eligible to qualify for an Education Award, you must certify that you meet these three requirements at the time that you apply:
- I have been a resident of Surrey or North Delta, or a regular adherent of SRBC, for at least six months.
- I have plans to attend an accredited Canadian university, college, or technical school within one year of being accepted for the Bursary.
- I have a Canadian Social Insurance Number (SIN) and will provide it to SRBC if selected.
Selection Process:
There will be up to four individual bursaries per year in the amount of $1000, each renewable for a maximum of four years. Funds will be paid to the student on receipt of proof of full-time registration at a post-secondary institution.
The post-secondary program can be either academic or vocational training.
